Summary The Director of Marketing efficiently gives informative tours of the facility and explain the amenities, fees and services of Creekside Retirement Village. Provides quality service and assistance to the residents and guests of Creekside Retirement Village such as answering questions via phone or in person at windows, selling postage stamps, mailing packages, mini-mart purchases, etc.
Duties
Professionally give informative tours, explaining the amenities, fee and services to guests inquiring about the facility
Assemble brochure packets for the month, including newsletter
Mail brochures to people interested in facility and keep record of who inquired
Keep record of telephone follow-up calls
Complete and mail weekly reports to corporate concerning traffic, notices, move-in, and move-outs
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents
Go over the rental agreement with new resident
Schedule and co-host with facility manager monthly new resident lunches
Open and close office and all duties included in process
Keep daily cash records from mini-mart, postage, etc. from cash register
Keep an accurate accounting of the postage stamps and have them replaced as needed
Greet and assist residents, resident’s family and general public
Record resident and guest meals daily
Balance money for mini-mart and record daily profit
Assist residents and questionings in purchasing meal tickets, recording meal trays, guest tables, etc.
Assist residents in postage meter needs, selling stamps, etc.
Get evening meal entrées for tray requests
Getting meal tray requests to the kitchen staff
Know the procedure for handling a fire alarm and be able to act accordingly
Write in daily log concerning incidents with residents, their welfare, etc.
Fill out maintenance requests forms and get them to the maintenance department
Getting to maintenance department any requests for new residents’ needs
Answer incoming calls transferring calls or taking accurate messages
Assist with bus driving (illness, vacations)
Qualifications
Marketing background is very helpful, both in education and experience.
Strong organizational skills, able to successfully take a project from idea to implementation.
Demonstrate a warm and caring nature with a sincere interest in working with older adults.
Show enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a neat/tidy appearance.
Good listening skills
Good driving record
